Beef Casings

The beef casings produced by Shorton Argentina SRL are produced in the slaughterhouses, inspected by the SENASA on site, using modern machinery operated by fully trained and experienced personnel in this process, conferring quality assurance of the raw material for its subsequent elaboration, classification and packaging in our fully modernized industrial plant and certified by SENASA, complying with our quality policy and respecting our TRACEABILITY Operating Manual, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP). With this we make sure that each skein of casing produced in our plant has been perfectly selected and controlled ensuring a standardization in the quality of the merchandise and putting an end to the old myth that the natural casings have a strong smell.

Classification: By adhering to a rigorous and controlled calibration process, we ensure a uniformity in the product that is aligned with our customers’ needs. CALIBERS: 34/36 –36/38 -38/40 - 40/43 –43/46 -46/+ and 48/+, QUALITY A –AB AND DOMESTIC IN SKEINS OF 2x13 METERS - 2x15 METERS AND 50 METERS, or custom sizes, which are available upon request.

Extracted directly in the slaughterhouse, it is manually desiccated with scissors by our highly trained staff and later transported to our industrial plant for calibration. calibers 45/50 - 50/55 - 55/60 - 60/65 - 65/up, AB QUALITY IN SKEINS OF 2x7MT AND 2x9 MT.

When working the raw material directly in the slaughterhouse and meat-packing plant, the products are desiccated in their natural state to avoid cracks, gaps and other weaknesses in the sheath, then in our industrial plant they are classified by gauge and quality before salting and preparation in sheets or skeins. Classification: 90/100 - 100/110 - 110/120 -120/130 - 130/+. QUALITY A - AB.

We are producers of pork casings of national origin. We use machinery with advanced technology for the production and cleaning of hog casings, operated by our team of specialized and trained personnel for each of the tasks. We also import pork casings from the most prestigious companies in terms of quality worldwide.

We produce and sell this merchandise. We supervise production, quality and all calibrations carried out on site at the slaughterhouse, which allows us to ensure consistent quality of the merchandise, delivering the same product to our customers throughout the year.
